Prior to our founding CFI in 1989, the partners, Leo Cohen and
Dan Friedman, each had over 25 years of experience in sales,
marketing, design and management within the electronic automatic
test equipment (ATE), instrumentation and electronic
manufacturing automation industries. Both successfully managed
regional and national sales forces and were deeply involved in
locating, screening and hiring key sales, applications and
marketing personnel for such firms as Eaton Corporation, Veeco, Schlumberger, GenRad and
Teradyne. Both partners have strong marketing, sales, and technical engineering credentials.
Since 1989, we have contracted with client companies
who manufacture and sell semiconductor capital equipment, ATE,
automation, electronic manufacturing, and EDA and yield management software tools to assist them to locate and
hire sales and marketing personnel as well as engineering
(hardware and software), field applications and upper management
personnel. The scope and depth of our network of key individual
and corporate contacts that we established with these clients
during our previous careers gave us the initial nucleus of
contacts. Since then we have greatly expanded and developed our
active list of both client companies and candidates.
